Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Whatlater, a read-it-later service operated by Deal Technology ("we", "us"). By messaging the Whatlater WhatsApp number or using app.whatlater.com, you agree to them.

The service

Whatlater saves content you send to it on WhatsApp, organizes it (including with AI-generated tags and summaries), and makes it available in your personal web hub. You need an active WhatsApp account; your WhatsApp phone number is your Whatlater identity. Whatlater is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.

Free and Premium

The core service is free. Premium is a paid subscription (monthly or annual, billed through Stripe) that adds features such as permanent article capture, the clean reading view, offline reading, and the daily digest. Prices and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Statutory refund rights (including under Turkish consumer law) are unaffected.

Your content

What you save stays yours. You give us the limited rights needed to operate the service: storing your items, processing them to generate tags/summaries, and (on Premium) keeping a copy of captured articles for your personal use. Captured copies are private to your account and are not published or shared.

Acceptable use

Don't use Whatlater to store or distribute unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, to send spam, or to probe or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Whatlater reliable, but it is provided "as is" — we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product evolves. We depend on third-party platforms (notably the WhatsApp Business Platform); their outages or policy changes may affect the service.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using Whatlater at any time and request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy). We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
